Patna Pirates beats Dabang Delhi

Patna Pirates registered a comprehensive victory over Dabang Delhi in the 45th match of Pro Kabaddi League at Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi.

Pirates won by a lead of 33 points (67-34). Pirates were in the lead in the first half by 21 points (17-38) and stretched it to 33 when the match ended.

Patna Pirates re-wrote their own record of the highest aggregate points (67) in a match in this game. In the first season, they had made a record 60 points against  Telugu Titans.

Patna Pirates played without their former captain Manpreet Singh. Rohit Kumar led the Pirates. Rohit Kumar was the best raider of the match. He bagged 16 points including one tackle point and 15 raid points from his raids. Rohit completed 19 raids in this match with 14 successful raids.

Sandeep Narwal again became the super defender for Patna. He bagged the inspiring defender of the match award. He scored 11 points including eight tackle points and three raid points from his four raids. Pradeep Narwal got the moment of the match award for his outstanding performance. He bagged seven raid points from just four raids. The substitute Mahipal Narwal bagged six points for Patna Pirates, including two tackle points and four raid points from seven raids.

Kashiling Adake led Dabang Delhi in their 2nd home match. Kashi bagged 10 points including one tackle point and nine raid points with one bonus point from his 17 raids. Surjeet Singh was the top scorer for Dabang Delhi. He bagged 12 raid points including six bonus points from his raids. Surjeet completed 23 raids in the match with only nine successful raids.

Pirates tops the table with 57 points. Delhi is at the bottom with 7 points.
