Patna Pirates beats Bengaluru Bulls

Patna Pirates eked out a win against Bengaluru Bulls in the 31st match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 3 at Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna.

Patna Pirates won by a lead of four points (36-32) against Bengaluru Bulls. The first half went in favour of Bengaluru Bulls who led by nine points (20-11). But in the second half, Pirates turned things around to register a close win.

Patna Pirates’ raider Rohit Kumar was the best raider of the match. He destroyed Bengaluru Bulls defence in the second half as he scored 13 points including 12 raid points with four bonus points and one tackle point.

Raider Deepak Narwal was another impressive performer for Pirates. He scored nine raid points with four bonus points from his raids. Captain Sandeep Narwal and Mahipal Narwal covered Pirates defence area against Bengaluru Bulls.

The one-man army of Bengaluru Bulls and their captain Surjeet Narwal scored 15 points in this match. He scored 14 raid points and one tackle point for the losing team. Deepak Kumar scored three raid points from his raid.

Patna Pirates is on the top of points table with 43 points. Patna Pirates has played nine matches in this season, winning 8 and drawing one against Puneri Paltan. Bengaluru Bulls has played eight matches in this season and won only two matches. They lost all the other six matches and are in the 7th position now.
